As part of a long-term initiative, I partnered with Biola University to launch a first-of-its-kind, faith-based film internship program in Southern California. Spanning 14 weeks, the program immersed students in hands-on production, mentorship, and real-world storytelling—uniquely framed by the integration of faith. Recognized within the industry for its rigor and innovation, it earned comparisons to major studio programs like Paramount’s and helped spark partnerships with companies such as RED, Canon, and others.
Broadcast production is a powerful form of communication that combines large crews, high-end equipment, and specialized talent. The most impactful live experiences fully engage the audience—while the production itself goes unnoticed. As a producer, director, educator, and consultant, I’ve led 60+ volunteers, directed 300+ live events, and built scalable systems for churches, universities, and businesses. My goal is always the same: craft seamless, message-driven experiences where the medium disappears and the story shines.
This campaign launched a new service at Cornerstone Church geared toward parents and young adults. Trifold mailers targeted key households across the greater Long Beach area, while wallet-sized invite cards amplified word of mouth and empowered the existing community to share the news. New visitors received a handwritten welcome card by mail, paired with a specialty coffee coupon for their next visit. Each coupon code was linked to a database entry and tracked by source, allowing the team to measure effectiveness and optimize future outreach.
Cornerstone Church, located in East Long Beach, serves a community that spans Seal Beach, Rossmoor, Los Alamitos, and nearby cities. A large portion of first-time visitors explore the church’s website before attending, while existing members depend on it for updates, service opportunities, and event info. Operating on a lean 80/20 staffing model, Cornerstone needed a site that could clearly communicate its culture, guide new users intuitively, and give returning members fast access to key resources. With these needs in mind, the website was built on Squarespace—chosen for its durability, ease of use, and strategic constraints that allow non-designers to manage content confidently and efficiently.
Music has long been a formative part of my creative life. Early on, writing and composing served as key outlets for expression and growth. While I write less for myself these days, I’ve continued to contribute as a collaborator with select groups—bringing intentionality and storytelling into the creative process.
My transition out of music naturally led me to the world of recording and mixing. I’ve always believed audio is one of the most overlooked yet essential components of storytelling—whether in film, music, or live presentations. These days, my focus is on dialogue recording and editing, though in earlier years I spent plenty of time behind digital audio workstations and front-of-house boards.
